The Koresh Federation Delegation in the United States
The official delegation of the Koresh Federation has arrived in the United States. The delegation included: Ravil Nogumanov, Chairman of the Board of the Koresh Federation; Murad Gaidarov, Vice President of the Koresh Federation, Olympic silver medalist, and Koresh World Cup winner;
The first stop on the itinerary was a visit to the Suplex gym in Chicago. The gym specializes in freestyle wrestling, which is close to the "folk style" developing in the United States.
During the visit, a significant meeting was held with Magomedkhabib Kadimagomedov, a decorated athlete whose achievements include: * Olympic silver medal; * European champion title; * World champion title.
Magomedkhabib Kadimagomedov is well acquainted with koresh and has expressed active support for the development of the sport. The athlete will soon compete in the prestigious Real American Freestyle Wrestling (RAF) tournament, further highlighting the high level of American wrestling and its openness to international cooperation.
The Suplex gym is a popular training ground for athletes of various disciplines, primarily freestyle wrestling. Athletes from Asian countries training there have experience in their national martial arts, particularly belt wrestling.
Following the meeting, a preliminary agreement was reached to hold an international koresh tournament at the Suplex gyms; the event is scheduled for early 2026.
