Koresh Wrestler received the title of "Sportsman of the Year" from the hands of the Russian Minister of Sports in the Moscow Kremlin

Koresh wrestler Dinar Karimullin has won the Sportsman of the Year nomination at the All-Russian Golden Belt Award. The prestigious award is held under the auspices of the Russian Union of Martial Arts (RUMA), co-chaired by Yuri Trutnev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, and Sergei Kiriyenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, who read out a greeting from Russian President Vladimir Putin at the opening ceremony. The ceremony took place on October 8 at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow.

Dinar Karimullin was nominated for the award thanks to a series of victories in the 2024 season at the Russian Championship, World Championship, and BRICS Games, which included koresh. The Sportsman of the Year award was presented on the stage of the Kremlin Palace by Russian Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyarev, who highly praised the importance of martial arts in the development of all domestic sports.

Representatives of the Russian Koresh Federation (President D.M. Minnakhmetov), ​​Vice President of the Federation Ravil Nogumanov, member of the Federation Presidium Igor Nikolenko, as well as Olympic silver medalist and member of the Presidium of the International Koresh Federation Denis Pimankov took part in the award ceremony.
