Ravil Nogumanov took part in an online meeting of the board of directors of the World Ethnosport Union.

Ravil Nogumanov, Chairman of the Board of the International Koresh Federation, participated in the sixth meeting of the Board of Directors of the World Ethnosport Union (WEU). The meeting was chaired by Bilal Erdogan, Chairman of the Union.

The participants discussed the calendar of events for 2025 and 2026, focusing on upcoming major sporting events.

Separately, the inclusion of Koresh in the program of the 2nd World Combat Games, which will be held in Cheboksary in October of this year, was noted. A proposal was also made to include Koresh in the list of demonstration sports at the "Stayki Open" freestyle wrestling tournament at the "Stayki" Republican Olympic Training Center (Belarus).

As usual, much attention was paid to preparations for the 2026 World Nomad Games, which will be held in Kyrgyzstan. Issues of organizational cooperation and the involvement of WEU staff in the work of the Directorate for the Games were discussed.

The meeting's agenda included issues related to educational projects under the auspices of the WEU, aimed at preserving and promoting traditional culture in general and ethnosports in particular. These initiatives are intended to promote the cultural heritage of nomadic peoples and support the sustainable development of ethnosports.
