Ravil Nogumanov took part in the ceremonial events of the international tournament in hapsagai wrestling in Yakutsk

The grand opening of the 1st International Khapsagay Wrestling Tournament Grand Prix "Khanalas Khapsagaya" took place in the capital of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), bringing together about 500 athletes from 10 countries. The competition, organized with the support of the Russian Union of Martial Arts (RUMA), became a platform for strengthening cultural and sports ties between regions and states.

The Chairman of the Board of the International Koresh Federation Ravil Nogumanov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Yakutia Sergey Mestnikov, Executive Director of the RUMA Ramil Gabbasov, Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of Yakutia Leonid Spiridonov, President of the International Khapsagay Federation Vyacheslav Nesterov took part in the tournament's ceremonial events.

The competition, which started on February 1, brought together athletes from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Iran, India, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Mongolia and Russia. Khapsagay, a traditional Yakut wrestling that requires not only physical strength but also strategic thinking, is presented for the first time in the format of a large-scale international Grand Prix.
